The service commenced with a video screening of the prayer song ‘Instruments of Peace’. This was followed by readings from all the Holy Scriptures. Rev Fr Packia Raj, Head, Campus Ministry and Rev Fr Kishore, COE led the congregation in the chorus ‘I Exalt Thee’. Rev Fr Stanislaus, Rector, threw light on the life of St. Ignatius; his tremendous contribution to the Jesuit Society and the great legacy he left behind.

Rev Fr Packiaraj, enlightened the members of the congregation on the Ten Elements of Ignatius Spirituality, laying emphasis on the Sixth Element, i.e. ‘Sum up at night what thou hast done by day’. He reminded the staff about the crucial importance of introspection; spending at least five minutes at the end of the day to look back and analyse how productive one has been and also to ask forgiveness for the errors one has made. This marked the end of the service.
