The Department of Commerce (Advertising, Sales Promotion & Sales Management) began in the academic year of 1994-95, and has ever since been in great demand from students all over the state. This is thanks in part to our unique combination of disciplines and in part to our unique ability to expose our students to the best of the industry while studying.

    Students get the opportunity to work with industry giants such as Taj Hotel, IDBI and HUL from the very first year, corresponding to their course-work with the experience they glean from these companies.

  2. 02 Seminars & Workshops

    We tie up with prestigious organizations and prominent personalities to conduct talks and workshops at the Academy. Students are often required to base assignments on these seminars.

  3. 03 Unique Course Grouping

    Our multi-disciplinary approach makes students eligible for a variety of professions.

Apart from the subject matter of the course, we teach our students to take initiative and responsibility. We train them to consider the big ethical question marks to all commercial questions.

    1. Department organizes one-day exhibition on “CONSUMER ADVERTISING AWARENESS” inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Anzelo Rex, S. J., Vice- Principal
    2. Guest lecture by Ms. Geetha Venkatraman, Manager, WFM_CTS providing insight on soft skills

  • 2013

    One-day workshop on Entrepreneurship Orientation jointly organized by National Small Industries Corporation Ltd and the department at Inigo Hall

  • 2015

    The Department organized a guest lecture on “Corporate Readiness Program” by Ms. Geetha Venkataramana, HR Manager, Cognizant Solutions and Mr. Shiva, HR, Cognizant Solutions on 29 June, 2015.
