"Commerce is all about the way forward. Has been, and will always be."- Ms. Jacintha Vincent
Head of Department
The undergraduate course of B. Com. Computers began in the year 2010. This course takes advantage of the inextricable link between commercial success and IT in today's world. We provide the right blend of Commerce and Computer Sciences to give students the analytical & technical skills required in an increasingly competitive workplace.
Some key statistics for the Department of Commerce (Computers):
we offer 1 UG course of 3 years for B.Com. Computers
with a cumulative experience of 215 years
hand-picked for their business & IT acumen
most of whom are enterprising IT professionals
The B.Com Computers course has been designed specifically to make the most of the boom in entrepreneurship in the IT industry. Our students are groomed to be leaders and professionals who are confident about what they want. And here is how we do it:
Students are taken to companies so that they can remember better what they learn in class, and so that they are better oriented in their goals
We conduct workshops and activities to instruct our students on team dynamics and leadership skills
Final-year students are required to work on a project in one of several areas such as Finance, Marketing, HRM, and Social Initiative
If our 22-strong qualified faculty does not convince, our great infrastructure with computer labs, E-Commerce labs, our very own library and audio-visual room surely will. Drop by for a visit.
Since its establishment in 2010, the commerce department has been doing its best to turn students into high achievers. Here is what some of our best looks like:
